Started in 1999, The Global Exchange Education Center is an education service centre located in Beijing, China. The institute is located in a high technology development area called Shang Di in Haidian District in northwest side of Beijing. The centre is accredited by CSN, a Swedish institution with high standards that works with study abroad students. The intensive group courses have been approved by Bildungsurlaub, an education organization in collaboration with the German government, since 2004. Global Exchange Center specializes in Chinese Language Training programs and Chinese Business Internships. Aiming at customized, personal attention-aimed teaching programs; the institute guarantees that it is competitively priced.

Various courses which cater to Chinese language learning are available. A Core Chinese language Course, after-class tutoring and Language Exchange Partner Program are available. Courses start on a monthly cycle rather than a semester system. There is an integrated program development process and quality control system. The institute aims at bridging the gap between people of different languages and brings them closer to Chinese culture. This, in turn, facilitates better business relationships between different countries. Institute also offers instructional programs though Skype to deliver high quality instruction to students’ home or office. Individual instruction, either as a program choice or a supplement to group classes, is readily available. There are three mediums of instruction available-group teaching, private one-on-one course and a combination of group and private lessons.

Teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced and are masters in their own fields. They are all trained in Chinese. The team of highly dedicated native Chinese teachers enjoys teaching in a creative, non-threatening and fun environment. They aim at giving individual attention and assist the students in best possible way by providing opportunities to the students to learn the language through practical exercises. Students are given ample opportunities to blend with the local students and practice what they have learnt in the class. Even the assisting staff is well trained and has years of experience in assisting the clients and hence assures that students enjoy their stay at the campus.

The program aims at providing high quality Chinese training which can be tailored according to one’s individual needs and requirements. The courses can be designed for duration of two weeks to one year as per the comfort and needs of the students. All the courses are designed in such a way that they ensure a good student- teacher ratio for better personal attention to each student. An option of staying with a host family is also provided for students who want to learn Chinese through hands-on experience. Students also have an option to stay in the dorm or international students’ residence. Some students prefer to stay in a shared accommodation along with other international students. Residential apartments for that purpose are also available. Good, reputed hotels are also located nearby the campus where students can stay. The internship program also ensures practical usage of spoken Chinese and hands on international work experience. Institute has a vast alumni network that is willing to assist the new recruits.
