Do you wish to learn German in Germany? If you do, you must get a student visa for Germany. Well, a student who aspires to pursue an academic program or training programs in Germany must have a student visa as it is a requirement under the immigration law in Germany. • Visa for study purposes – a type of student visa that is valid for one whole year. This visa requires proof of admission (required exams) and proof of financial and educational support for the whole time duration while studying in Germany.

It is very important to consider what program are you going to acquire so that you will know what type of student visa in Germany are you going to get. After all, you need to gather the requirements and important documents which include the following:

• Letter of acceptance from a college or university in Germany.
• A proof sufficient funds or financial support for the student’s educational needs for a specific period of time or until program is completed. A copy of it is also necessary.
• 2 complete application forms and required declaration in duplicate.
• 2 passport photos.
• 1 valid national passport and a copy.
• Valid US alien registration card (for non-US citizens).
